Our FLOVEL team recently embarked on a special journey to NSUT (Netaji Subhas University of Technology) and DTU (Delhi Technological University) in search of hiring Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs).

FLOVEL Energy Private Limited, organized a fun filled badminton tournament on 16.12.2023 at Sai Sports Academy, Greater Faridabad. Based on the performance, following players were adjudged deserving for the designated awards:

FLOVEL Energy Private Limited, India organized a Medical Check-Up on xxx July, 2023 at the headquarter. With an increasing complexity of professional demands, health check-ups are a worthwhile investment for companies. They increase the health and productivity of employees, reduce absenteeism and deliver a positive return-on-invest within only a couple of years.

International Yoga Day event was held at our corporate office and factory premises. Just as Hydropower builds a greener and healthy Earth, Yoga builds a healthy human being. Sharing a few images from the event.

Mothers’ are source of life. At FLOVEL we celebrate Mother Earth each day through our contribution to renewable energy, helping keep it green. On the occasion of the Mother’s Day, we held a drawing competition, wherein children of our team members drew sketches dedicated to their Mothers’ and they were just beautiful. FLOVEL, started in 1971, is now 50+ years young. FLOVEL participated in the Hydro Power Asia Conference (Hanoi, Vietnam. 7-8 Nov.). Mr. Vivek Saxena, Vice President, Sales & Marketing, spoke about the journey of FLOVEL in Vietnam and initiatives undertaken by FLOVEL to address challenges for the Hydropower sector. Below are some glimpses from the event.

FLOVEL celebrated the 75th Independence Day Anniversary of India, along with the rest of the nation. It filled us with the spirit of perseverance, freedom and conscientiousness. Below are a few images from the event.

On the occasion of International Yoga Day on 21st June, 2022, we at FLOVEL celebrated yoga day with full spirit and fervour at our Corporate office and at our factory premises. The theme for International Yoga Day 2022 is “Yoga for Humanity” and keeping the same in mind we all pledged to adopt yoga as a daily practice for better health and wellness.

FLOVEL organized a focused, powerful, and result-oriented off-site team building program for its team members at the Jim Corbett Park, Uttarakhand from 6th to 8th, May 2022 at the Triangi Resort. The program focused on key practical ideas to build skills to lead a powerful team, enhance team connection, improve communication and synergize the team members to perform at their best.

In India, Lord Shri Vishwakarma Puja is performed as it marks the birth of Lord Shri Vishwakarma, who is believed to be the creator of the world, and is referred to as the divine architect. Lord Shri Vishwakarma, the son of Lord Shri Brahma, is believed to have created the holy city of Dwarka, Lord Shri Krishna’s ruling kingdom. Lord Shri Vishwakarma engineered very powerful and unique weapons for the God. He was called the divine carpenter.

Lord Shri Vishwakarma Puja/Worship is performed *every year on 17th September*. On this auspicious day, the Engineers, Technicians & other employees worship Lord Shri Vishwakarma with proper “Vedic Mantras” as per Hindu tradition to take his blessings for the safety of Man, Machine, Material and pray for their wellbeing & skill development, smooth & safe functioning of machine tools and prosperity of the company.

Kite Flying was organised on 73^rd Independence Day of India as an expression of freedom, happiness and patriotism. Tri-colour kites were all around in the sky. Employees participated in team and made the event successful by enjoying to the fullest. This event of Kite flying imbibed the spirit of working as team among the employees in addition to fervour of patriotism among all.

We are delighted to inform you of our participation at the upcoming event Renewable Energy 2019 Exhibition & Forum, Yokohama, Japan from 10^th to 12^th July 2019.  The venue shall be PACIFICO YOKOHAMA. The event is being organised by Japan Council for Renewable Energy (JCRE).

Teams: Four Teams were formed. “Royal Challengers” and “Super Kings” from FLOVEL Corporate Office. “Knight Riders” and “Kings XI” from FLOVEL Factory.

Rules: Matches will be of 20 overs each. Five Bowlers can bowl a Max. of 4 overs each.

1. Match no. 1 ( 6^th April 2019 ): Super Kings vs. Knight Riders (Winner: Super Kings)
2. Match no. 2 (6^th April 2019): Kings XI vs. Royal Challengers (Winner: Kings XI)
3. Match no. 3 (7^th April 2019, Final Match): Super Kings vs. Kings XI (Winner: Kings XI)

Super Kings batted first and were restricted at a score of 117 runs in 20 overs. Kings XI defeated Super Kings, scoring 119 runs in 13.5 overs.

Man of the match in final match: Shashi Shekhar (36 runs).
Man of the series: Bharat Sharma (104 runs & 5 wkts ).

September 20^th, 2018

FLOVEL Energy Private Limited, India hosted the Customer Meet 2018 at Kathmandu, Nepal in Hotel Radisson on 20^th September 2018. Invitees were many prominent personalities of Nepal hydro power sector and were a wonderful blend of promoters, major bankers providing finances to hydro projects and hydropower consultants involved in the development of hydro power projects in the country.

The Customer Meet 2018 was focused to showcase the strengths of FLOVEL is in its ability to offer comprehensive Electro-Mechanical solutions on turnkey basis for the development of hydro power industry.

Participants in the interaction program expressed that FLOVEL have played a vital role in the development and production of environment friendly generation of power.

Mr. Gautam Kar, Executive Director, during his welcome speech highlighted the contribution of FLOVEL Energy in the hydro power sector and expressed FLOVEL’s commitment in the development of hydro power in Nepal. He also appraised participants about the projects under execution in Nepal by FLOVEL.

Mr. Kumar Prasad Pandey, the Vice President of Independent Power Producers Association of Nepal (IPPAN) opined that the FLOVEL Customer Meet 2018 has conveyed significantly relevant information for all concerned about the hydropower in the country. Mr. K. B. Bisht, past president of IPPAN, has also expressed the confidence in FLOVEL as synonymous to hydro power sector as full-line supplier of hydro power plants; manufacturer of hydraulic turbines and turnkey supplier of electro mechanical packages for hydro power projects.

Mr. Bhaskar Gupta (Vice President Sales & Marketing – FLOVEL) briefed the guests about the deep roots and strong foundation of FLOVEL in Hydro Power sector. Mr. Sameer Gupta (General Manager Sales & Marketing – FLOVEL) further informed the guests about the special features of the products and projects executed by the company worldwide including in Nepal.

Mr. Mukti Nath Sharma, Executive Director of Marron Trading Pvt. Ltd. (authorized representative of FLOVEL for Nepal) thanked all distinguished guests. This Customer meet served as significant event for all stake holders of Hydro Power projects, Nepal.

July 17^th –19^th, 2018

Tenaga Expo and Forum 2018 was organized by UBM in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to promote Power generation, distribution, transmission and engineering industries in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.

The exhibition aimed at providing opportunities to various enterprises in order to increase international exchanges and cooperation in spreading business. FLOVEL India represented Hydropower Sector in the exhibition under the umbrella of Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC). FLOVEL’s motto behind participation was to get acquainted with the Malaysian hydropower sector and to engage with prospective customers in the region.

During the exhibition, many visitors visited FLOVEL’s stall and their impression was that FLOVEL, India possesses capability and technology as good as any European company.

Dr. Varun Jeph, who is Commercial Representative (High Commission of India) in Malaysia visited FLOVEL’s stall and expressed his keenness in getting to know more about FLOVEL. Mr. Vivek Saxena explained to him about FLOVEL’s business area. Some other visitors associated with Hydropower, including officials of TNB also paid a visit to FLOVEL’s stall and expressed their interests for future business associations.

Participation in Tenaga Expo & Forum Exhibition was therefore very fruitful and marked the beginning of FLOVEL’s extended efforts in Malaysia.

December 14^th & 21^th, 2013

FLOVEL family and the participating players had a fun-filled blast during the two days of Cricket tournament played on 14^th and 21^th Dec., 2013.

In the Finals held on 21^th Dec. 2013, Bhaskar’s TEAM emerged as convincing winners and Winners and lifted the “Flovel Corporate Cricket Tournament 2013” Trophy, Mr.Bhaskar maintaining his good record of winning the Tournament.

Bhaskar’s TEAM archived target of 122 runs in 16^th over Based on itself performances, following players were adjudged deserving for the designated Awards:

• Man of the Match in Finals – Anurag Gaur (48 runs, Not Out)
• Man of the Series – Based on the overall performances, The Matches-Abhinav Bhatia was adjudged with this award
• For the 2^nd Runner-up Match, Rajvir’s team defeated puneet mangla team to claim 3^rd place.

Participating players as well as cricketing enthusiasts from the FLOVEL Family mingled together and enjoyed the two days of Cricket which will certainly add to the spirits of Team work in professional roles as well, resulting in the overall Growth of FLOVEL.

March 14 – 15, 2013

Philippine Association of Small Scale Hydropower Inc. (PASSHydro) organized the Philippine Hydro Power Summit – 2013 on March 14 – 15, 2013. The venue was the Intercontinental Hotel, Manila.

FLOVEL participated at this very successful event, which was a great opportunity for us to show case our cutting-edge technology and solutions for hydropower projects. It was also a great opportunity to network with Philippines hydro community. FLOVEL has recently received the order for Limbatangon SHPP 3 x 3000 kW in Philippines.

December 18, 2012

Africa has some of the world&rsquos greatest potential for hydro power. This potential remains largely untapped and there is an urgent need for unlocking this potential. This potential could be the key to accelerated development, poverty alleviation and socio-economic development.

Corporate Cricket Tournament – 2012

December 07^th & 08^th, 2012

FLOVEL family and the participating players had a fun-filled blast during the two days of Cricket tournament played on 7^th and 8^th Dec., 2012.

In the Finals held on 8^th Dec., 2012, Midha’s TEAM emerged as convincing winners and lifted the “FLOVEL Corporate Cricket Tournament 2012” Trophy, Midha ji maintaining his good record of winning the Tournament.

Midha’s TEAM scored 177 runs in 25 overs, in reply to which Rajvir’s TEAM could make 120 runs. Based on their performances, following players are adjudged deserving for the designated Awards:

• Man of the Match in Finals – Anurag Gaur (59 runs)
• Man of the Series – Based on their overall performances, three players jointly shared this Award – Anurag Gaur, Rajvir Singh and Sandeep Jha
• Best Fielder and Catcher – Nikhil Mehta

For the 2^nd Runner-up Match, Kuldeep’s TEAM claimed the 3^rd spot.

Participating players as well as cricketing enthusiasts from the FLOVEL Family mingled together and enjoyed the two days of Cricket which will certainly add to the spirits of Team work in professional roles as well, resulting in the overall Growth of FLOVEL.
